The sort of communities we live in today are somewhat segregated. We are divided by ethnicity and income. Diversity would be an important characteristic of my city. There will be people from different ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs, and classes of life. Having such a diverse community promotes peace and many people working together to make life a whole lot easier. Although diversity is relevant, development is more important.
This paragraph sounds great to me. Although, maybe you should add how diversity will help the development of your city in the next paragraph! It could tie into the whole theme and transition nicely.
