Periphyton Aquaculture Techniques in Haiti can be used in Africa?

They also call these techniques “low impact”and “sustainable.”

5. Conclusions
Based on the above discussion it may be concluded that a number of promising
technical, social and institutional approaches with potential to contribute to low
impact aquaculture have been identified and to some degree tested, however,
strategies are required that promote and support their uptake and where necessary
adaptation. Awareness of promising approaches to low impact aquaculture should be
promoted amongst target institutions including national and local government
authorities, extension agents, development practitioners, educational establishments
and communities that stand to benefits. Furthermore, policy, institutions and processes
should support low impact aquaculture and where appropriate, incentives and
disincentives implemented to help change perspectives and behaviour.
