Community Development Finance Association
what is an association fee?
hey, im 16 and don’t know how i came about this but my friend lives in nj, jersey shore central jersey, whatever u wanna call it (As do i) but he lives in a single family community, its big, about 120 homes or 110 idk, anyway, its made by a company that builds single family development community, and the community has a brick wall around it. now, why do that have to pay this? what does this fee include? he told me his parents give them to the person whos in charge of the finances in the community and they give it to the company or something? also, since theres this brick wall around it, and a sign and flags and stuff when you enter, would the community be considered gated? bricked? lol. im just interested. also, what would this be considered? a community? a development?
btw its not a senior community, kids from my high school live there.
My goodness Jeff you are obsessed with money and what it’s used for! Like everyone above me said it’s used for street maintainance. It’s kind of like condo fees except on a larger scale! It sounds like your friend lives in a development. Most develpments have gates around them so people can’t see into the yards.
