Community Development Organisations
Where can I find an organization which sends paid development workers to Third World Countries?
I only found volunteer programs where you have to pay yourself a participation fee plus travel and accommodation expenses but I know that there are some organizations which send community development workers to activate in a local NGO up to 2 years and pay them for the job
I would say you should take a look at Habitat for Humanity… while I am not sure if you get paid for, I do know that they are international and go to poor countries to help the people there.
