Jobless rate highest in Ottawa County
Ottawa County development officials are hopeful the upcoming tourism season will help reduce the county’s unemployment rate, the highest in the state last month.Ottawa had a jobless rate of 18 percent in February, representing 3,900 unemployed workers in the county, according to data released Friday by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
