Economic Development Training

Is it possible to rehabilitate , socially and economically by providing vocational training?

This question is related to Leprosy affected (Downtrodden) people and their families staying in India in a conventional social set up. Normal people with such training are not able to earn then how these leprosy affected people will be able to earn with so much of social stigma in the society, who had never been a part of the society, lived under pressure and depression. Suggestions please
Any suggestion for their social and economic development
I am concrned about their family members ( age around 15 -20 yrs studied till class 4 – 5) who are not affected by leprosy and depends upon the alms of their parents. Habituated of a easy life.

It’s not a problem which can be handled by social workers ,or sympathisers, or volunteers but needs Professional handling.Vocational training can cater for their incomes(though not for all due to deterioration of limbs) but toughest part is their social re habitation. There are NGOs who deal with the issue in it’s totality and are best suited to handle it.We can help by donations and mobilizing more donations and make it easier for the NGOs to do their job effectively.
