Ubuntu 9.10 Application help?
Hello,
I have ubuntu 9.10 running but wondering how to get it fully functional OS. So can you guys please give the sudo command line or link to Ubuntu packages that will have software/tools to allow me to do these functions:
-Easy to customize
-Multi-task/Multi-thread
-Good platform for Development and research and data analyzing/creating/modifying and also good for using Engineering/Scientific Applications (need that as im going into aerospace)
-Good for documenting and office working (i.e Microsoft Office or any variant and able to use Adobe)
-Good for multimedia
-Good for gaming
-good for leisure use
-very good system tools and a great security system
-and just overall very efficient, powerful, long lasting, and the ability to utilize new Technology (i.e. touch screen)
Also is there like a command that will let me download all these packages listed here:

Ubunti 9.10 IS a fully functioning Operating System. The Ubuntu Science link you provided is already installed by default in Ubuntu 9.10.
I suggest you take a basic tutorial on how to use ubuntu. If you notice, it comes with a variety of tools that you requested. I believe Ubuntu comes with Open Office, which is a equivalent of Microsoft Office. Ubuntu already has multiple applications in it for leisure / entertainment, and is fairly easy to customize. It is more secure than windows for the simple fact that there are less viruses out there for it. Touch Screen might be an issue for ubuntu, since most major digitizing companies ( the people that release the “touch” part of a touch screen) do not officially have support for ubuntu.
Overall, your question is very general. I suggest your read up a bit about Ubuntu / Linux in general.
